On the Shelf - Chipotle Paste


We always have a little jar of chipotle paste in the fridge, we love the smoky spice it gives to dishes and feel like we can’t live without it. Here are some of our favourite ways to use it.

  1. Bean Salad -Put chopped cherry tomatoes, red and green bell peppers and tinned sweetcorn in a bowl with a tin of drained mixed beans. Mix 1 tbsp of chipotle paste 2 tsp tomato paste,, juice of half a lime, salt and pepper and mix, add a tbsp of water to thin and add to the mixed veg and beans

  2. Mix with sour cream and add to wraps, fajitas or sandwiches

  3. Fry sweetcorn and chopped red pepper in butter and add a tsp of chipotle paste
