On the Shelf - Red Wine Vinegar

Red wine vinegar is just fermented red wine. It has a punchy, fruity and mild acidic taste. Use this where you would normally use red wine. It’s perfect to dress a salad but below are our other favourite ways to use it.

  1. Gravy

    Add a few splashes for a rich tasting gravy.

  2. Pasta

    To give your red pasta sauce depth of flavour add a couple of tablespoons of red wine vinegar.

  3. Quick Pickled Onions

    Finely slice a red onion, add 2 tbsp of red wine vinegar and a pinch of sugar and salt , leave for 10 mins then enjoy.
