VEGAN CHEESE TOASTIE

Ingredients

40g plant based cheese Vegan cheddar

40g plant based mozzarella. vegan mozzarella

1 spring onion finely chopped

3 tbs plant based mayonnaise Vegan Mayo

2/3 tbs mango chutney

1 tsp cumin seeds

Method

  1. Heat the cumin seeds in a dry pan until they start to sizzle.

  2. Cut two thick slices of bread.

  3. Spread mayo on one side of each piece.

  4. Spread one side with the mango chutney.(opposite side to the mayo)

  5. Mix the cheeses and spring onion together and add on top of the bread with the mango chutney on.

  6. Add the second slice of bread on top with the mayo side facing up

  7. Press together firmly.

  8. Add cumin seeds to a dry frying pan and add the toast. Cook over a medium heat for three minutes each side .

  9. Remember not to cook too fast as we want the cheese to melt and ooze.
